Project Selection

EUCTP聽projects must be approved by the Project Steering Committee, which is comprised of representatives from the beneficiaries and the European Commission.聽Generally speaking, projects are more likely to be approved if they:

1)聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Fall under the scope of the project objectives i.e. support China's integration into the world trading聽system

2)聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Work in the mutual interest of both China and the EU, or in the interests of the multilateral trading system

3)聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Are likely to have a substantial and positive impact on trade flows

4)聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Are cost effective
