Report - Deregulation of China's Aviation Sector

The General Administration of Civil Aviation of China (CAAC) has expressed interest in reviewing the current framework of economic regulations covering China’s civil aviation sector and introducing principles of market liberalization and free competition. The EU has extensive experience in transforming in civil aviation sector from a state owned sector to a highly competitive industry. On that background the report “Deregulation of China’s Aviation sector” reviews china’s current framework and introduce EU experience in managing its air transport sector. A team of experts from Leiden University Mr. Pablo Mendes and Prof. Zheng Xingwu from the Civil aviation university of China (CAUC) have conducted the report which can be downloaded below.
