IP Enforcement Seminar China-EU-Japan
The European Commission and the Japanese government have worked independently to enact a number of cooperation programmes with the Chinese government, to support the development and enforcement of a modern IP legislative, regulatory and protection environment. With support from the Department of Treaty and Law in support with other IP authorities, this seminar will be the first activity in which the European Commission and the Japanese government work in partnership in support of these issues. The seminar aims to share EU and Japanese experiences on areas of common concern: designs and unfair commercial practices with the Chinese community. The seminar’s main sessions was coverd: “Introduction to the IPR Situation in China”, “Industrial Designs: Procedures for Protection”, “Protection of IPR against Unfair Commercial Practices”, and “IPR Strategy and Future Protection”.
